TUC URGES GOVERNMENT TO PRIORITIZE WORKERS WELFARE.

The Kwara State Chairman of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Abdulrahman Onikijipa, has advised Nigerian workers to cultivate discipline and a positive attitude toward their work, stressing that punctuality, commitment, and responsibility are essential for productivity and national economic growth.

Onikijipa gave the advice on the sidelines of the Workers’ Day celebration in Ilorin, urging the government to prioritize workers' welfare, create an enabling work environment, and provide adequate tools and resources to enhance performance.

Emphasizing that a satisfied workforce is crucial for improving overall productivity, he also highlighted the importance of discipline and motivation in driving national productivity and economic growth.
