TROOPS ARREST FOUR SUSPECTED TERRORISTS, RECOVER ARMS,AMMUNITION IN TARABA.

Troops of the 6 Brigade Nigerian Army/Sector 3 Operation Whirl Stroke have arrested four suspected terrorists in Taraba State. 


A statement by the Acting Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, 6 Brigade Nigerian Army, Captain Olubodunde Oni, said the operation followed a distress call regarding the movement of armed men into the area and the troops responded swiftly, deployed tactically to the location, and successfully arrested the suspects.


Oni said the Troops recovered items include 2 pump-action rifles, 1 locally fabricated gun, 3 cutlasses, 42 cartridges, 4 mobile phones, and 1 national identity card. 


He noted that preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly invited by one Ardo Sani, whose role is currently under further scrutiny.


The Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Kingsley Chidiebere Uwa, commended the troops for their swift response and professionalism. 


He reaffirmed the Brigade's commitment to ensuring the safety and security of lives and property in Taraba State and encouraged the public to continue providing timely and credible information to aid ongoing operations.
