President Bola Tinubu has commissioned the renovated International Conference Centre in Abuja.

The N39 billion renovated Centre has now been renamed as President Bola Tinubu International Conference Centre.

The president performed the commissioning after arriving from Lagos, where he celebrated Eid al-Kabir festivities, and the event was witnessed by notable figures, including FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Deputy Senate President Jibril Barau.

The facility was shut down for rehabilitation in April 2024 and Wike was visibly excited, and seen dancing at the commissioning ceremony.

President Tinubu is expected to commission other projects in the FCT ahead of the Democracy Day anniversary on June 12.
