The lawmaker representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District at the National assembly, Senator Seriake Dickson, has paid tribute to the late elder statesman and leader of the Ijaw Nation.
The former governor of Bayelsa State joined other leaders, including former President Goodluck Jonathan, on Monday, to receive Pa Clark's corpse at the Ijaw House, a monument he helped to complete and commission
He highlighted the elder statesman's iconic leadership and contributions to the Ijaw Nation, expressing pride in his achievements.
Senator Dickson also recounted his initiatives, including the Ijaw Heroes Memorial Park, which honors Ijaw heroes.
He urged everyone to attend Pa Clark's funeral service in Kiagbodo, Delta State, to bid a fitting farewell to the departed leader, and he also commended the state governor for knowing what to do, being a product of the Ijaw movement.
