SEA PIRATES DRESSED IN MILITARY CAMOUFLAGE, ABDUCT 13 PASSENGERS, BOAT OPERATOR IN RIVERS STATE.

Thirteen passengers and a boat operator have been reportedly abducted by sea pirates, along Isaka River in Okrika Local Government Area of Rivers State. 

The incident was said to have occurred on Tuesday when the assailants, dressed in military uniforms, invaded the passenger speed boat, Blessing and Happy Marine, which was traveling from Port Harcourt to Bille town.

The pirates reportedly abducted all thirteen passengers on board, with the boat operator, and whisked them away to an unknown destination.

Nigerian troops have been mobilized to the scene, and efforts are underway to rescue the victims, recover the boat, and arrest the perpetrators.
