
PRIME MINISTER MODI MOURNS VICTIMS OF PLANE CRASH.
Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has expressed sadness over the plane crash in Ahmedabad.
Earlier today, the Air India Limited Boeing 787 aircraft travelling from Ahmedabad to London’s Gatwick Airport crashed with 242 passengers and crew on board, shortly after takeoff.
According to reports, the plane had reached an altitude of about 625 feet at a speed of 174 kilometres per second as videos also showed black smoke billowing from afar.
Reacting to the sad incident, Modi, in a tweet on his X account, sympathized with everyone affected and vowed to assist those affected.
The Prime Minister also revealed that he has been in touch with Indian authorities, including Ministers who he said are working to assist those affected.
