PRESIDENT TINUBU APPRECIATES WORKERS PATRIOTISM, PROMISES TO CUSHION HARDSHIP.

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his appreciation to Nigerian workers for their patriotism and perseverance, acknowledging the importance of their contributions to the nation's growth and prosperity, promising to cushion economic hardship.

President Tinubu made this known at the 2025 International Worker’s Day celebration in Abuja, where he was represented by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Muhammed Dingyadi.

He reaffirmed his administration's commitment to implementing policies that promote job creation, poverty alleviation, and economic stability, as well as his support for the most vulnerable members of the society.

The president also stressed the need to reclaim civic space, prioritizing transparency, inclusivity, and dialogue, while pledging to strengthen labour protections and ensure fair treatment for all workers.
