POLICE OPERATIVES ARREST 3 KIDNAPPERS,MOTORCYCLE SNATCHERS IN TARABA STATE.

Operatives of the Taraba State Police Command have arrested three members of a notorious kidnapping gang and motorcycle snatchers. 

The command spokesman, James Leshen, revealed in a statement that the suspects were arrested in Takum Local Government Area after a two-month surveillance operation.

Leshen noted that the police acted on credible information about the suspects' lavish spending without a known source of income and during interrogation, they confessed to kidnapping a victim, snatching his motorcycle at gunpoint and collecting a ransom of N1.5 million.

He said the state Commissioner of Police, Emmanuel S. Brete, has urged residents to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies to combat criminal activities, while stressing the need for relative peace in the state.
