POLICE ARRESTS 2 SUSPECTS,RECOVER WEAPONS,MOTORCYCLE IN ANAMBRA.

The Anambra State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of two suspects, Ani Obinna and Okwudili Ezike, for allegedly terrorizing residents of Nnewi. 

A statement by the command spokesman, Tochukwu Ikenga, said the suspects, who were caught during a hot chase by police operatives acting on a tip-off, confessed to being members of a secret cult and kidnapping gang, adding that a foreign-made pistol, three live ammunitions, and a stolen motorcycle were recovered.

Ikenga said the police are intensifying efforts to dislodge their criminal network and arrest other fleeing gang members, assuring that the command has sustained security patrols in the area to ensure a secure environment for residents and businesses to thrive.
