In a related operation, Adejobi said the police rescued seven abducted persons in Niger State after engaging kidnappers in a gun duel.

He added that in Plateau State, police raided a criminal hideout and recovered 500 rounds of ammunition linked to a culpable homicide case, noting that these operations demonstrate the police force's efforts to combat kidnapping and violent crime in the country.
