POLICE ARREST 2 SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS, RESCUE 11 VICTIMS.

Officers of the Nigeria Police Force have 11 kidnap victims in Katsina State and also arrested two suspected kidnappers in Delta State.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in Abuja.

Adejobi revealed that in Katsina, a joint security team foiled a kidnap attempt, engaging in a gun battle with armed bandits and successfully rescuing 11 victims unhurt. 

He added that in Delta, police operatives arrested a key suspect in a cross-state kidnapping syndicate and recovered two AK-47 rifles, four magazines, and 32 rounds of live ammunition.

The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has commended the bravery and professionalism of the officers involved and urged all commands to sustain the momentum in the fight against violent crimes
