PLATEAU STATE'S FORMER DEPUTY GOVERNOR, DIES AT 74.

The immediate past deputy governor of Plateau State, Professor Sonni Tyoden, has died at 74 after a brief illness. 


This was confirmed on Sunday by former governor Simon Lalong, who described the deceased as a trusted political ally, teacher, mentor, and key contributor to their administration's success.


Speaking during a condolence visit to Tyoden’s residence, Lalong noted that the deceased former governor brought stability, wisdom and experience to the immediate past administration, working tirelessly to ensure that his administration had a successful eight-year tenure.
