OYETOLA PLEDGES COMMITMENT TO PROTECTING MARITIME WORKER'S WELFARE

The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, has pledged the Federal Government's commitment to protecting the rights, welfare, and security of maritime workers. 


Oyetola made the pledge in commemoration of this year's Workers' Day celebration, highlighting the vital role maritime workers play in driving socio-economic advancement.


Reaffirming the Ministry's commitment to investing in infrastructure, technology, and training to enhance productivity and working conditions in the sector, he commended maritime workers for their resilience, dedication, and contributions to the growth and sustainability of Nigeria's economy.


The Minister called for continued collaboration between government agencies, labor unions, and private stakeholders to ensure the maritime workforce remains competitive, well-motivated, and future ready, assuring that his Ministry is committed to building a modern, secure, and thriving maritime sector that creates jobs and drives national development.
