ONDO STATE GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA PLEDGES TO PRIORITIZE AGRICULTURE FOR ECONOMIC GROWTH.

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has reaffirmed his administration's commitment to prioritizing agriculture for economic growth and food security. 


Speaking at the 10th anniversary of Ondo State Agricultural Commodities' Association (OSACA), Aiyedatiwa emphasized that supporting farmers would reduce hunger and boost economic development.


The governor, who was represented by his deputy, Olajide Adelami, assured farmers of necessary support, including tools, and commended the association for promoting capacity building and market access. 


Also speaking, the Chairman of the Association, Abiodun Adejo, called on the government to provide tractors for farmers and support federal initiatives to enhance agricultural productivity.


For his part, the Director of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security in Ondo State, Akeem Ogundeko, also promised continuous government support to farmers, including distribution of farm inputs and other benefits.
