NIGERIA'S 26 YEARS OF UNBROKEN DEMOCRACY IS A MILESTONE-OYEBANJI.

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has congratulated Nigerians on the 26th anniversary of June 12 Democracy Day, describing it as a great milestone for the country. 


He noted that the uninterrupted democratic rule for 26 years has earned Nigeria huge respect globally.


The governor praised President Bola Tinibu for his pivotal role in the fight for the restoration of civil rule in Nigeria and his efforts to make the country great through the Renewed Hope agenda, while calling for the support of all Nigerians to restore the country to the path of prosperity.


Governor Oyebanji also paid tributes to late Chief MKO Abiola and other martyrs of democracy, emphasizing that their sacrifices should not be in vain. 


He described June 12 as a watershed in Nigeria's political history, marking a turning point in the nation's journey.
