A statement on Wednesday in Abuja by the Corps Public Education Officer, Olusegun Ogungbemide, said the operation aims to curb reckless driving and promote a culture of safety on the state's roads through intensified monitoring, enlightenment campaigns, and strict enforcement of road laws.
The governor emphasized that the era of reckless driving is over, therefore, residents must join hands with the FRSC to make the roads safe for all users, stressing that road safety is a collective responsibility that requires everyone's involvement.
In his remarks, the FRSC Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, stated that the operation would focus on enhancing road safety awareness, strengthening enforcement, and promoting a culture of safety among road users, with the goal of reducing road traffic crashes and saving lives.
