The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has denied the alleged relocation of the Ministerial Press Briefing Sessions from Abuja to London.

Idris emphasized that the sessions are still being held at the National Press Centre in Abuja, where ministers address Nigerians and the international community directly.

The Minister made the clarification at the eighth edition of the briefing session, which was attended by several ministers, including the Minister of Works, David Umahi, who had been falsely reported to be scheduled to unveil President Tinubu's achievements at a press briefing in London, which he denied.

He emphasized that the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation's responsibility is first to the Nigerian nation, therefore, the briefing sessions will continue to be held in Abuja.
