LAGOS PDP REACTS TO DEFECTION OF MEMBERS TO APC.

The Lagos State PDP said it is not moved by the defection of several party leaders to APC. 

The state PDP Vice Chairman, Hakeem Olalemi, noted that the defectors were inactive in the party for over two years and they will not be missed as the party has moved on without them.

Olalemi claimed that the defectors had shown they were not truly PDP members, and their departure is no news to the party, as they were more aligned with APC and had not been part of PDP's activities in Lagos State for a long time.

Several prominent PDP leaders and former candidates including the State Publicity Secretary, Hakeem Amode, and other notable figures recently defected to APC, and the PDP has maintained that it remains undeterred, saying that party is better off without the inactive members.
