INFLATION DECLINE DUE TO FG'S REFORMS,INTERVENTIONS - MINISTER.

Federal Government has attributed the decline in Nigeria’s inflation rate to the ongoing reforms and focused interventions. 


The Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, made this known at the Ministerial Press Briefing Session, citing the National Bureau of Statistics' report that inflation dropped to 23.71% in April from 24.23% in March.


Idris highlighted that the administration's interventions, particularly on food prices, have been effective in bringing inflation under control, assuring that the government would sustain economic improvement by prioritizing people-centered policies and promoting shared prosperity.


Emphasizing that Nigeria is turning a corner, the Minister urged the media to continue disseminating positive developments responsibly, assuring that the government would remain accountable to the people and sustain momentum in providing relief and restoring economic stability.
