GOVERNOR SULE SAYS DEFECTIONS TO APC ARE REFLECTIONS OF GOOD PERFORMANCE.
Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has attributed the recent defections to the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the party's performance and President Bola Tinubu's leadership.
Governor Sule disclosed this to State House Correspondents after a meeting with the president at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Tuesday.
The governor cited the president's reforms, including foreign exchange rate unification, fuel subsidy removal, and power sector reforms, as reasons for the influx of new members.
He dismissed concerns about Nigeria becoming a one-party state, saying it's unrealistic and unnecessary, but expressed the APC's desire to be the dominant party, winning a significant majority of votes, while allowing other parties to exist.
Governor Sule also said that the APC is confident in its trajectory and focused on building on its current momentum.
