Mutfwang commiserates with traders at Terminus Market, Jos
Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has commiserated with traders at the Terminus Market in Jos, following a midnight fire outbreak that destroyed over 500 makeshift shops.
During his visit to the market, the governor expressed sorrow over the massive destruction, describing it as a major setback to the state's economic prosperity.
Attributing the fire to an electrical spark, exacerbated by the nature of the makeshift structures in the market, Governor Mutfwang pledged that his administration would support those affected by the fire incident, exploring ways to help them rebuild and restart their businesses.
He also sought the traders’ cooperation as the government explores safer alternatives for business operations in Jos metropolis.
