FLIGHT DISRUPTED AS AIR PEACE AIRCRAFT HITS ANTELOPE ON ASABA AIRPORT.

An Air Peace aircraft collided with an antelope while taxiing on the runway at Asaba Airport, causing disruptions to scheduled flights. 

The incident left the aircraft grounded, marked as Aircraft on Ground (AOG), and engineers are currently assessing and fixing the damage.

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) confirmed the incident, noting that while the collision was unforeseen and beyond the airline's control, Air Peace is still obligated to inform passengers and provide necessary care. 

The NCAA emphasized that it would monitor the situation and impose sanctions if the airline fails to meet its responsibilities.

The incident has caused inconvenience for passengers waiting for their flights, and Air Peace is expected to provide refunds and support to those affected. The NCAA's statement highlights the importance of airlines' responsibilities to passengers, even in cases of unforeseen circumstances
