The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has awarded N25 million to 15-year-old autistic artist, Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo Okeke, for setting the Guinness World Record for the largest art canvas.
Kanyeyachukwu's artwork, measuring 12,304 square meters, featured a multi-colored ribbon symbolizing autism, surrounded by emojis.
Receiving Kanyeyachukwu in her office on monday, the First Lady praised Kanyeyachukwu's achievement, emphasizing the importance of supporting children with special needs and helping them develop their skills, while encouraging parents to focus on their children's strengths and interests.
Also speaking, the Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, appreciated the First Lady for celebrating Kanyeyachukwu's milestone, highlighting the significance of empowering youths and providing opportunities for them to thrive.
