COURT SENTENCES SINGER,PORTABLE TO THREE MONTHS IMPRISONMENT.

Nigerian singer, Portable, has been sentenced to three months' imprisonment by a Magistrate Court in Ogun State. 

Portable was found guilty of assault and theft of musical instruments. 

However, the court provided an option for fines of N10,000 for Count 1 (one month's imprisonment) and N20,000 for Count 2 (two months' imprisonment), while the total fine would be N30,000. 

Portable had been arraigned in April 2023 and he was granted bail, but failed to attend previous hearings, leading to his remand.
