R&B singer, Chris Brown, has been released on bail after being charged with grievous bodily harm over an alleged attack at a London nightclub in February 2023.

The singer was granted bail by Judge Tony Baumgartner at London's Southwark Crown Court with conditions such as the payment of a £5 million security fee, while being allowed to continue with his scheduled international tour, including performances in the UK.

He is, however, prohibited from contacting the alleged victim, Abe Diaw, or visiting the nightclub where the incident occurred and he is expected to be back in court on June 20 for a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing.

Brown will also be in court on October 24 for a further case management hearing.

The singer's bail conditions also require him to surrender his passport and travel documents, except when traveling for his tour.
