BAUCHI KILLINGS: CP CONDEMNS ATTACK, ORDERS INVESTIGATION.

The Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, Sani-Omolori Aliyu, has condemned a recent deadly attack in Mansur village, Alkaleri Local Government Area.

The attackers reportedly targeted a joint patrol team of professional hunters, leading to multiple fatalities among the vigilante operatives and quasi-security personnel.

A statement by the command spokesman, Ahmed Wakil, said the CP, who visited the area, engaging local stakeholders, urged residents to remain calm, vigilant and cooperate with the police.

The CP ordered a full-scale investigation into the attack and assured that every individual involved will be tracked down and brought to justice.

Commiserating with the bereaved families and vowing to restore peace and security in the state, CP Aliyu encouraged residents to continue supporting security efforts as the command intensifies operations against criminal elements.
