2027: AKWANGA STAKEHOLDERS BEG SULE TO CONTEST NASARAWA NORTH SENATE SEAT.
Stakeholders from Akwanga Local Government Area in Nasarawa State have called Governor Abdullahi Sule to contest the Nasarawa North senatorial election in 2027.
They made the call in a communique issued at the end of a stakeholders meeting on Tuesday in Akwanga, and read by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Yakubu Kwanta.
The group, including members of his tribe under the Mada Development Association, praised his transformational leadership and inclusive governance, claiming that his presence in the Senate would bring greater opportunities and visibility to the zone.
The stakeholders pledged to mobilize grassroots support across all wards and polling units in Akwanga to ensure his victory.
They also appealed to stakeholders from other local government areas in the senatorial zone to rally behind him for collective development. The group reaffirmed their unwavering support for Sule's potential senatorial bid.
