Nasarawa United players have been rewarded with N2.5 million for their thrilling 2-1 win over Lobi Stars in Matchday 36 of the Nigeria Premier Football League.
The reward was given by Governor Abdullahi Sule, and his deputy, Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe.
The win has seen Nasarawa United climb to 11th position on the league table with 49 points from 36 matches, as the team, also known as the Solid Miners, secured the victory at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu on Wednesday.
Nasarawa United will try to maintain their form when they take on Enyimba in their next league game on Sunday and build on their recent win to move further up the league table.
