FLYING EAGLES HEAD COACH ZUBAIRU REACTS TO TEAM'S 1-0 WIN OVER TUNISIA.

The head coach of Nigeria's Flying Eagles, Aliyu Zubairu, has reacted to his team’s 1-0 win over Tunisia in their opening fixture at the 2025 Africa Under-20 Cup of Nations. 

The decisive goal was scored by Auwal Ibrahim about seven minutes before halftime. 

Speaking after the game, Zubairu attributed the victory to the team's motivation to secure a World Cup ticket.

The Flying Eagles will face Morocco in their next game on Sunday and Zubairu has said that his team will devise a strategy to get maximum points, acknowledging Morocco's experience with more players abroad. 

He added that the team will handle each game as they come and map out a way to beat them.
