Nigeria's Flying Eagles will face Senegal in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Africa Under-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt next Monday at 1pm Nigerian time at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia.

The game will be a rematch of their 2023 Under-20 AFCON encounter, where Senegal won 1-0.

Senegal secured a spot in the last eight after a 2-0 win over the Democratic Republic of Congo in their final group game.

The defending champions finished second in Group C, behind Ghana's Black Satellites, while the Flying Eagles have been impressive in the tournament.

This quarterfinal match promises to be an exciting all-West African affair, as the winner will earn a spot at the 2025 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Chile.

With both teams determined to progress, the match is expected to be highly competitive, as Senegal tries to build on their previous victory, while Nigeria will battle to exact revenge and secure a spot in the World Cup.
