DRONE ATTACK ON SOUTH SUDAN HOSPITAL RESULTS IN SEVERAL CASUALTIES, INJURES.

A drone attack which targeted a hospital in El-Obeid, South Sudan on Thursday, has resulted in several deaths and injuries. 

The Military Medical Corps Hospital, affiliated with the Sudanese army, was attacked, and witnesses reported casualties, although the exact number is unknown.

The attack is part of the ongoing conflict between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), which has led to a humanitarian crisis in the country. 

No party has claimed responsibility for the attack, neither have authorities made an official statement.

The conflict, which began in April 2023, has resulted in thousands of deaths and displaced millions of people, with recent incidents including attacks on El-Obeid Prison and artillery shelling in the city, thereby worsening the humanitarian crisis in Sudan.
